Diggity is a  dog. He loves digging. That's how he got his name. His cream body gleams in the sun. His breed is the golden Labrador.  All day long all he does is dig. Dig, Dig, and dig burring bones and other canine treasures. Sometimes there is dramas but the
narrator and Diggity but up with it. Mum, Dad, Lucy and the narrator were packing up get ready to have a relaxing, Comfortable day at the beach.

When they reached their destination, Flying sand covered everybody as they screeched with laughter. When the Mum and Dad had had enough they reset there 2 deck chairs. Diggity got bored. He decided to play in the waves with the narrator. Narrator and Diggity were having a wonderful time but eventually the Narrator got bored and decided to sit down and relax on the beach towel.

Next minute the Narrator heard a dog whimper and a mongrel snarl (which is a dog without a breed). Dad and the Narrator went to see what the fuss was about worriedly. Before they could think they saw something horrible. Diggity lying on the ground with blood on his creamy, now red stained necks coat. The narrator was horrified. Her Dad scared off the nasty dog with big fangs and gently picked up Diggity and drove him to hospital (vets for dogs!). In a matter of days Diggity was hobbling out of the vets slowly and silently and as soon as the narrator saw him rushed up and gave him a huge, But soft hug
Diggity is a survivor!
